sweet valley books

these are the books i have grown up with. i love jessica and elizabeth wakefield.
there were so many times i wished sweet valley was a real place.
these books are gone now.i've sold them as sets on ebay.
i wish i had a daughter i could have passed them on to.

every summer, i would get these books out and read them in order.

i really loved these special editions. especially winter carnival.

the stories started to get weird around this time.

i love the 7 part series culminating at # 100!
someone's boyfriend dies!
at least it's not todd wilkins!

weird story arcs. although i loved the evil william white for elizabeth!

the highlight of my week would be going to national bookstore
to buy the next installment in the series. P54

i started my collection with 'the ghost of tricia martin'. i saw
one of the kids in csa with it and it intrigued me.
in 'brokenhearted' and 'in love again', elizabeth is torn
between jeffrey french and todd wilkins, her old boyfriend who
returned to sweet valley.
i'm for todd wilkins of course!

in 'taking sides', jeffrey french falls in love with elizabeth.

in 'dangerous love' elizabeth and todd get into an accident
causing her to have temporary amnesia.

i love it when elizabeth and jessica fight. i like elizabeth more than jessica,
but i like jessica too.
in 'last wish', someone dies. luckily, she's totally a forgettable character.

i got most of these when i asked my sisters to buy them for me in the states.
i stopped buying them when the series got weird, but i got hooked again.
i've collected all, except for maybe 2 books, i think.

from high school, they go on to college.
sweet valley university.

sweet valley senior year, the weirdest so far, but i'm still hooked.
i'm already married with a child, at this time.

i don't think a lot of people heard about this part of the series.
elizabeth goes to london. whoever bought this set from me is really lucky.

recently, francine pascal came out with this book
about what happened to sweet valley ten years later.
i can't wait to buy it!
